Exciting news from Mt Hay Retreat
Anthony and Louise from Mt Hay Retreat had a rare evening away from the retreat in late November, heading to Sydney to attend the NSW Tourism Awards 2024.
A whopping 200 award nominations were received this year, double last year’s entries, so competition was friendly, but fierce!
An incredible 103 finalists were selected across categories such as attractions, tours, festivals, accommodation, and food tourism. Showcasing the best of NSW from the outback to the cities. These businesses represent the best of tourism excellence and are on the only path to the Australian Tourism Awards, to be held in Adelaide in March 2025. Where the Gold winners in each category will compete (head to head) for bragging rights to be Australian Gold Winners in their categories.
The full list (of finalists, let alone winners!) offers an inspiring insight into the unique offerings and experiences across New South Wales and gives plenty of inspiration for a NSW based getaway.
