Welcome: We are a family run business offering luxurious, tranquil accommodation and truly warm hospitality.

We pride ourselves on being as inclusive as our physical location (on top of a hill) allows.

Please reach out to us if you have any special needs or access requirements and let us know how we can support you and help you to enjoy your stay with us.

Assistance dogs are very welcome.

Accommodation At A Glance: Arrival and Suites

Upon arrival, please either call or text us and we will come and meet you on the driveway and show you where to park your vehicle.

There is then a gently sloping concrete driveway and then a wooden pathway from where you will park your car to your suite.

We have 2 suites that have no steps internally or externally – for ease of access.

Suite 4 has been designed with accessibility in mind.  It has a wide entry doorway (910mm wide) with a lever operated handle, at an accessible height for ease of use.

Internally there are no steps and plenty of room to manoeuvre should you have a mobility aid.

The bed always has clear access around it (700mm on one side, 1m+ at the foot and 2.4m to the other side) and can be moved for improved accessibility if it is helpful.

In room blinds work off a remote which can be located to suit each guest.

Light switches of the lighting above the bed are operated from the headboard of the bed – in case that is helpful.

You can also easily access your deck area with seamless in-door out-door living, again with no steps.

Bathroom

The bathroom door way is 970mm wide and bathroom benches are at a lower height for convenience (720mm from floor level) and both showers and toilets are ‘free flow’ with no step, door or lip and plenty of room around them.

The shower has easy access (1.4m) and is particularly large (1.6m*2.8m) to allow plenty of space.  There is a double shower head fitting (one rain head and the second an adjustable hand-held shower head).

The toilet is at 440mm in height and has a minimum of 700mm clear space in front of it and 2m to the right.  Both flush points and toilet paper are both within easy reach.

All taps are lever taps and are both at 1m from the floor.

General – Pool

Our pool, spa and chess area are all accessed via a wide gently sloping pathway.

The pool itself has a rail and graduated (underwater) steps to make access into and out of the pool as easy as possible.

The door way to the pool is a triple stacker sliding door – to allow plenty of room to manoeuvre.

There is also a seat located close by that may be useful.

Assistance into and out of the water is happily offered – please just ask.

Adjacent to the pool house there is a large bathroom for all guests to use.  It is very large with plenty of space adjacent to the toilet for those with mobility devices (c 2m) and the shower is entirely screen/door free with a mobile head for ease of use.  Taps are again positioned at approximately 1m from floor level.

General – Gardens

There is a garden walk which is steep in parts and is mainly on grass.

There are multiple benches and spots to sit, take your time and enjoy the view and the tranquility.

Reception

We do not have a formal reception area – preferring with all our guests to bring reception to them, wherever they are most comfortable.

Payment is taken prior to arrival by bank transfer or card payment.  If you wish to pay on arrival (50% deposit is required to secure your stay at the time of booking), this can be processed on arrival through a mobile device if it is more suitable for you.

We live on site, so should you require assistance at any time, we are more than happy to help.
