Berry has a range of cuisines to enjoy ranging from the European-inspired menu created by chef John Evans at South on Albany, or grab a bite whilst relaxing in the shady gardens of The Garden a gorgeous cafe in the heart of Berry featuring seasonal produce and fresh flavours. Alternatively why not sample the extensive wine list at Silos Restaurant nestled in a local vineyard on the outskirts of Berry or treat yourself to lunch at stunning Mountain Ridge Winery.

The Treat Factory is just around the back of Berry and has some great treats if you have a sweet tooth or indulge in the deliciousness that is Queen Street Cafe – not only renowned locally for their Kings Breakfast but also for their High Tea delicacies. Or, if your palate is more savoury try one of the excellent delis in Berry – The Emporium Food Co, Flavours Shoalhaven and much more.
Held at the showground between 8.30am – 2.30pm on the first Sunday of each month (excl. Feb), the Berry Country Fair offers the chance to pick up local produce and browse for collectibles, books, art, crafts and plants.

If wine is your thing – there are some great wineries nearby – Two Figs Winery, and Crooked River Wines are both definitely worth a visit.
Or if shopping is more your style – with all the independent retailers along Berry’s picturesque high street, you are sure to spot that gift for a ‘difficult to buy for’ friend, or even a little something to take home for you! If greenery is more your thing – Berry has your back! The township itself has plenty of green spaces (Princess Park, Berry Showground, Berry Courthouse and Gardens) to wander in, or to retreat to with a few delicacies for a little time out. Berry is also close (15 minutes) to Seven Mile Beach, a glorious expanse of golden sand that’s perfect for a walk and a breath of fresh air, plus superb headland that you can walk out to at low tide (Black Head) to hunt for fossils or rock hop!

If you like golf – nearby courses include Shoalhaven Heads, Kangaroo Valley, Nowra and Gerringong.
There are also masses of walks, cycle routes and other things to see and do in and around Berry. A breathtaking drive westwards from Berry to Kangaroo Valley (State Tourist Drive 7) will lead you through the rugged escarpments of Kangaroo Valley to the natural beauty, waterfalls and cozy villages of the Southern Highlands. Why not take a stop at Cambewarra Lookout for uninterrupted vistas of rolling hills and a panorama of Shoalhaven City, stretching from Coolangatta Mountain in the north, to Pigeon House Mountain in the south.
