What is your cancellation policy?

Cancellations made more than 7 days prior to arrival receive a full refund, minus any card surcharges. Cancellations within 7 days of arrival incur a charge of 50% of the total stay. Cancellations within 48 hours of arrival are non-refundable. While every effort will be made to resell the room, guests remain liable for the full cost of their accommodation booking.

Do you charge credit card fees?

Yes. A small surcharge applies to credit card payments. Bank transfer or cash payments do not incur any additional fees.

Rates

Our suites range in price from $380 per night midweek (Sunday to Thursday) and from $640 on weekends. All our suites accommodate a maximum of two adults and usually have a two night minimum.

Restrictions

Please note that Mt Hay has a strict no smoking policy and is exclusively for the enjoyment of guests aged 18 and over. We are also unable to welcome pets as guests.

A minimum stay of three nights and a peak tariff may apply on long weekends, Easter and the Christmas period. These rates vary from $380 to $640 – please select your dates to view applicable rates.

Check in is from 3pm, with check out prior to 10am. A late departure or early check-in may be possible by prior arrangement only and cannot be guaranteed.

In order to reduce the risk of identity fraud, we will ask you to provide photo ID at check in to ensure that the identity given matches the booking and credit card details. A record and/or copy of photo ID may be retained for verification purposes with your card provider.

All our Gift vouchers have a 3 year validity. Vouchers are available for both midweek and weekend stays or for a specified dollar amount – the choice is yours.
Suites are available for arrival from 3pm. Departures are by 10am. Most departure times can be extended by prior arrangement, but cannot be guaranteed.

Cancellations and refunds

All cancellation requests must be in writing – e.g. letter or email and a receipt of cancellation issued.
Credit card surcharges incurred are not refundable.
Cancellations within 7 days of arrival will forfeit 50% of the total cost of your stay; within 48 hours of arrival will require full payment of all booked accommodation.
Whilst all attempts will be made to resell your room, you remain liable for the costs of your total accommodation booking.
Should you fail to arrive on the scheduled day of your reservation, your room will be held until the following day in case you have been unforeseeably delayed and are unable to contact us. Should you not arrive the next day your reservation will be cancelled and the total accommodation charge will be applied.
Any changes to bookings must be requested in writing by e-mail.
